This Website is for the exclusive use of registered users and  is copyrighted to S. Ramanathan, MD.  Any reproduction of its contents without written permission is forbidden. You must first register using the Registration form provided. The User Name and the Password will become active in 24 hours. The purpose of this website is to make available on-line a written test on OB anesthesia that the trainees can complete. This test provides a framework for a comprehensive discussion of most fundamentals of OB anesthesia. The trainees can  complete the answer form on line and submit it  via email. All drug regimens  commonly used for labor analgesia  are listed. These are only guidelines and the individual requirements may vary. We will also provide useful technical tips and literature update on OB anesthesia as warranted. In addition, the website will offer a multimedia  orientation package to all trainees including residents, SRNAs and medical students. This web orientation package provides a brief orientation and is not a substitute for the written manual you will receive when you start your rotation. A short review as well as a more comprehensive didactic  review of obstetric anesthesia are included.
